UMS v2 is 5.75.7G, which is very slow, complicated and difficult to build as a single stage program. But this is a 4 stage program, which makes building it something like an order of magnitude harder and slower. I am not willing to do any more multi-stagers because of this. I had already committed to 4 stage with UMS, or I would be building it as a single stage too.
I don't want to rebuild it again any time soon after this, either. I would love it if I didn't need to build this again for the next 3-6 years at least. That's my goal.
Finally, I have too much else to do. I can't develop certain aspects of the skeleton script for 6G completion while I am building subs. That means that at some point, I have to stop building subs and work on bringing the skeleton script up to what it needs to be to release 6G.
So there's no chance that UMS will be going to v3 any time soon. Worry not.
