Congrats on the latest release.... I feel emotional healing is one of the things we all need to use at some point.



I hope you still devoting time to DMSI, we have been waiting for it for a while. Care to share latest developments?

DMSI has to take a back seat while I am in the process of building E4 and Stage 3.  To build as fast as possible I have to focus completely on that thing, and that allows me to get back to DMSI as fast as possible.

DMSI has some very interesting advancements in the skeleton script.  There's a lot left to do yet, but I am not just optimizing the existing parts, I am adjusting the skeleton script in various ways to continue making things work better all around.  There is one in particular that I am really interested in finishing development of, because I believe that is going to be a major step forward in achieving execution.  

So basically, work on DMSI can be divided into three parts.  

First, there is the adjustment of what is pre-existing to change or improve it based on improved understanding of how to achieve the goals.

Second, there is development of new techniques, technologies and approaches in the Key script and Skeleton script.

Third, there is upgrading the existing script to match the latest in scripting standards.

Currently, I am moving back and forth between working on the first and second points.  The first point, I am dealing with a very complex and thorny issue that is very difficult to get right.  Even more difficult, given that the models haven't been stable all the time lately.  

Then there is the second point, which is the "fun" part for me.  Creating, inventing and implementing new ideas, techniques and technologies.  I have several I am working on in this script, and they seem very promising.  Two in particular have me looking forward to seeing how this works, because if they work as I designed them to, we will see another obvious step up in execution.  And there are more forming in the corners of my mind.

Lots of work to do, and it's not being helped by the occasional instability of the models or the fact that I have to stop and build other things.  But work is ongoing, and it is going as fast as I can.  Although after I build stage 3, I am going to have to take some time off, since I can't take a break after building E4.  Have to start working on Stage 3 today.
