So last night while running OF at a higher volume than usual I had an interesting dream.

In the dream, it was the first day of college. And during my first class, the instructor said today's topic is about the most dangerous thing to the mind, to begin let's watch this video.

When the video started, I was shocked. It was about subliminals. The person talking in the video kept on saying how dangerous subliminals audio are and the producers to these audios put stuff in them to destroy (or replace) our voice.

End of the dream.

What the heck was that?

Voice = speech. Speech = "the subject" [EDIT: a.k.a.: "the one who is speaking"]. "The subject" = that unconscious ego thing Shannon was talking about some way back which oscillates between that which is consciously accessible through thought and that which can be experienced physically.

Oh, also notice that in this dream it's *someone else* who's telling you it's such a scary, scary thing.

In an academic setting, no less!

Because, I guess, if no one ever told us what's dangerous and what is not, we wouldn't know to be afraid of it, now would we?

Since it's not like a subliminal program ever came up to you and, say, kicked you in the shin (because, lemme tell you, that can smart).
