I'm insanely curious because some of the people I'm around are incredibly negative and even after months of usage they haven't slacked off the negativity (although my usage patterns are most likely the culprit thanks to recent revelations).
These who "knock themselves out" look as if all of their energy had become suddenly drained or as if they had become seriously clinically depressed within an instant, and need to lie down. Kinda like that. In one particular case I remember, it looked like a sudden anxiety attack that lasted for about 15 minutes. Also had one case wherein the patient got nauseous and had to vomit. I'm sometimes halfway tempted to record these KOs when they happen and I'm around, to show it off here, but eh. I have mercy.
For some time after knocking themselves out, the particular patients appear to be very, very afraid and wary of me. Some do try to bring it on yet again, but you just gotta keep DRSing and doing your thing, heh.
EDIT
By the by, the effect has had become so prominent in certain circles, f. in. among some people I work with, that they have taken notice that *something's definitely up and it's related to something Have at ye's doing, but we don't know what*, lol.
