Then again, it might be defeating the purpose of DMSI because DMSI has the aura modulation component, which is essentially energy transmutation/modulation/projection, and the TAS has the transmutative component, which is, essentially.... the same thing. 
So it might make your subC stop projecting the DMSI-aura because it's going to be busy transmuting stuff coming your way.
Still sounds like a perfect fit for something like UMS, though.
