I am glad you have overcome your infection.
ALRA interests me a lot, because two years ago I almost died from an anaphylactic shock (full breathing arrest for a minute). So you are saying allergies are caused by hypnosis, or only healed by hypnosis?
I am saying that hypnosis is one way that you can remove the major reaction that you see consciously as "an allergic reaction". Not all allergies are overtly obvious in how you react.
Here's an example. I have had allergy tests done that prove that I am what is considered "very allergic" to house cats. Yet I have had a house cat almost my entire life. In fact my cat sleeps right next to my face each night. Yet I do not have any "allergic response" that is obvious enough to even be noticed by me. On other other hand, I am also "very allergic to a specific food item, and if I eat it, I am at risk of asphyxiating because my tongue and or throat swell so much. That food item is something I was always allergic to, but only after a specific age did I start having the overt response.

It is possible to use hypnosis to trigger a major and overt allergic response just as it is possible to remove such a response, but no hypnotist in their right mind would ever cause a major and overt allergic response.
Quote:I know that advertising uses a lot of subliminal stuff. When you mean hypnosis does that include hypnosis through subliminals, too?
Hypnosis and subliminals are not the same thing, and you cannot hypnotize someone through subliminals. Hypnosis is a state of awareness, which is possible to induce through subliminals if you understand how; but hypnosis is also something else. It is the balancing of the interaction of the conscious and subconscious awarenesses such that both are easily accessible, but the subconscious is not being restricted by the conscious in certain ways. Normally, the conscious dominates the subconscious in certain ways while it is "awake" and prevents the subconscious from receiving and/or responding to certain things. During hypnosis, the two are balanced such that the conscious mind assists in the subconscious being outwardly expressed, without limiting it. Achieving that state requires either audial, visual and/or kinesthetic induction, but the conscious mind is involved in that induction directly. The state I can create through subliminals does not work the same way, since the subconscious is the one being directly interacted with, and it must then interact with the conscious mind. That approach is not necessarily going to result in a state of balance between them that would be properly classifiable as "hypnosis", although it is in some cases possible to do. Those who claim to be inducing hypnosis through subliminals are usually assuming that a subliminal works the same as hypnosis and so do their scripts, but that is not the case. Interacting sirectly and specifically with the conscious mind without interacting with the conscious mind produces a different set of scripting requirements to achieve the goals successfully.
A subliminal that is properly designed to remove major allergic reactions will use the subconscious mind and cause it to interact as necessary with the conscious mind, but it will not be hypnosis that results.

Woodman.
Are you sure it wasn't you playing my subs at work?
Just a note. ALRA is not designed or intended to be used as a means of saving lives in case of allergic response, and you should neither expect it to, or use it for that purpose.
