The core motivation for a male is "freedom". Read some David Deida and educate yourself.
Freedom can manifest itself as earning money, getting laid, hitting the gym or drinking a beer and watching football.
The stronger the male's desire for freedom, the more masculine he is.
So no, the core motivation in life for a male isn't to attract a female and not all males with a masculine core want to either (think of a buddhist monk who seeks enlightenment or General "Mad Dog" Mattis who forsook women entirely to dedicate himself to the art of warfare)
This is a great example of how faulty logic can loop someone into a tail spin.
Not sure if I fully agree. Me and I think a lot of guys could probably leave their testimony to that meeting a girl who see you for more than you are make them pick themselves up, and make you find the motivation to become a better person, and just finding motivation to move upwards. I know by experience that both male and female friends can help you realize who you are and I don’t think that this power should be underestimated. And I somewhat think that women possess a power to empower men to become their whole potential.
