Carpet bombing is only useful for overcoming extreme fear and resistance. If you don't need it, it will probably not be beneficial. The way to know that it's time to stop carpet bombing, as far as I can tell so far, is that you start overtly executing the program. If you were doing that before carpet bombing, you will only be overloading yourself.
