Crap.
A pretty good friend/colleague of mine (one who's never actually tried to actively dick me over, which says a lot in my corner of the showbiz) decided to try and attempt suicide. I knew the guy had some sort of neurosis which ended up in depression, and was taking medication for it, so I'm not really that surprised, but still it kinda came out of the left field, as these thing tend to when they're serious. Fortunately, he's okay and is currently at a psychiatric ward for observation (he'll probably stay there for a month at least - it's legally mandated over here after a genuine suicide attempt that he can be committed this long). He contacted me to tell me about it, so I'll be finishing up this translation job I've got (2 more days should be enough, I'm in the home stretch) and then I'll go and visit him.
Trouble is, I'm a bit worried about visiting a psychiatric ward while going full-blast with DMSI. My presence is extremely strong when I'm using it, and there may be numerous people there who are *extremely* sensitive to energies, etc. Any thoughts, dear readers and perhaps Shannon? Or any personal experience with a similar situation (i. e. DMSI and a psychiatric ward, lol)?
