Keep in mind, just because I received all those IOIs from her, it doesn't mean I could have just sat next to her and had my way right there and then in front of my wife. Perhaps it's Shannon's intention to have DMSI become so powerful that SHE would hop onto MY lap and try to have HER way someday in that situation - but like he says, we're not there yet.
To me, you seeing the pics and acknowledging you have indeed seen IOIs in your experience definitely shows progress.
