Video Games - What do you play?

I loved Day Of The Tentacle too. Did you play Maniac Mansion when it first come out? Compared to Day Of The Tentacle I can see how it could seem dated, no voice etc.

The NES version, yea. I was super young (maybe 6 or 7, so maybe 1991) when I first played it, no idea what to do or where to go, and no one I knew had experience with the game pre-GameFAQs. All three characters kept getting caught and thrown in the basement, me with no idea how to get out.
