Shannon, this is the social discourse that happened the other night with the girl who auto disqualified herself.
Her : Nothing lol hope yesterday didn't make things awkward....
Me: It's why I don't like to text before the first date =)
Her: ......why don't you....? Is it because things become awkward or...? Lol
Her: I guess? Okay lol
Me: No, it's because there's a chance for the other person to lose interest before the first meeting. It's scientific the way people work, despite what anyone says.
Her: Lol are you losing interest?
Her : It's okay if you are....lol
*by this point, I'm sick of being interrogated and just want to stop answering questions, and meet on sat*
Me: I'm still down to meet Saturday
Her: That's great but now I'm curious lol

Me: Let's just put it this way. It doesn't matter if I did or didn't; I'm still willing to meet you on Saturday so I can understand who you are, before it's fair for me to make a judgment of your character either positively or negatively. So I can't answer your question, until I know you. Did it make things awkward? Yes. But I'm also awkward as hell, but I own that shit to the point where it is who I am, and idgaf how awkward I am lol

Didn't even think it was relevant to post it here until a friend mentioned how non needy and alpha it is due to the fact that I didn't respond after that, didn't try to explain my perspective, my thoughts, my opinion. ... my mindset was that I was actually willing to give this girl a chance, even after it got slightly awkward but that shenanigan just went over the top for me......... and I don't have the patience to give her another chance when she's displayed her drama queen tendencies, and I'm not trying to have any or that in my life.
