No, that's probably the audio to silence ratio technology. If I'm understanding it correctly, there are periods of silence built into the audio to allow the brain to process the subliminal without overloading. There's a gap of silence in both the masked and ultrasonic versions (that I've noticed, might be more) around the center of the loop.
