Besides using subs, i would also ask myself, why is the relationship lackluster regarding sex?, is she sexually attracted to me?, is she a sexual person?, am i being the best man i can be/am i working to be the best man i can be?

It's designed that way so nobody can say I'm responsible for a rape because someone decided to use it without telling a woman what he was doing, and no woman can decide she wants to have sex, and then change her mind and cry rape after the fact and decide she needs to "have justice" at the expense of others because she can't take personal responsibility for herself and her choices.
It forces full disclosure and that's how it's going to stay until people can start taking responsibility for what they do with their sex organs.
