RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - Frosted - 01-10-2021 @Shannon Do you think trying to understand my fear will help me? Do you know why what we fear can also be strangely fascinating? Since the start of OF it has gradually gotten better. Usually I would have flare ups every other day, but now I get like one flare up each week which vanishes the next day. Yeah, thats what I thought, thanks for explaining. So the more clarity I get from eliminating subconscious fears the more obvious it is for me that I need to focus on bettering my self esteem, hence E4. Im still unsure its the right move tho, so I guess ill take your advice and stick with OF RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - UniversalMan - 01-11-2021 Ok, @Shannon I need your advice... I am listening OFv1. 6 months and 4 days now, schedule is 6 days on 2 days off (have done adjustments in listening schedule at some point), what happens is I am ok on the days on, but as soon the first day off comes I start to feel like crap physically and mentally, and some stupid mortal fears come to surface, and also feeling like I will vomit. Should I try with no days off for some time? ![]() RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - Benjamin - 01-11-2021 If that's the urge you're getting UniversalMan then try it and see how it goes. There is an autoconfig module that helps guide you to the right amount of listening. If it gets overwhelming after a while then you might need a night off, by the sound of it more input might be good. Shannon can comment further though. Thanks Shannon. I think the volume issue you're right as I noticed the volume on s7 is different for music and youtube as that of the s10 - so s10 it is. The members that reacted to your suggestion mostly favored option #2 if I am correct. Can we decide on this now so there is a clearer path for you to plan your work and more clarity for us to know what to expect and by when. Also, there needs to be a decision about the money page. Thanks, firsthelix RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - Shannon - 01-12-2021 (01-09-2021, 02:20 PM)SouthPaw Wrote: Hey Shannon can you make a quick fire focus visualization sub to make the user clearly visualize (see, feel, smell, touch, hear) what they want and actually materialise it? I first have to state that I'm not sure that such a goal would be simple enough to do as a focus fire. Then I would point out that while it is a worthy goal, I am dealing with some things recently that are making it very difficult, next to impossible, to be productive at all. Until that passes - and I expect that at minimum it will be in play to an almost impossible to bypass degree until about the 20th, and then merely "extremely challenging" for the rest of the month - I will not be able to make anything that requires any predictive modeling. They are just giving me static during this influence. Like they always have, during this influence. So it's worth considering. maybe put it in the suggestions thread. RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - Shannon - 01-12-2021 (01-09-2021, 02:58 PM)reki Wrote:(01-07-2021, 10:21 AM)Shannon Wrote:(01-06-2021, 09:16 AM)reki Wrote: I'm at a loss for the sleep subs since there are a lot of them. I've been having trouble resetting my sleep schedule. I sleep at 7-9am in the morning and wake up at 4-6pm in the evening. This has been going on for more than 8 months. I want to be able to sleep at least in the 12am midnight but whenever I try I just can't sleep. Also I tried just waking up for the whole day and even if I did I still can't sleep at night. Any subs good for improving my sleep schedule and overall sleep. I want to be able to sleep immediately and wake up early. I'm fit, working out, eating healthy 90% of the time so I don't think health is the problem. If you are subconsciously avoiding something you fearby forcing a sleep cycle that makes you sleep while it is in a position to be dealt with, or experienced, then killing the fear will remove the efforts to keep you asleep all day. I have found that even without that issue, OF v1 and 2 both help me sleep. There are many possible reasons why you might be having sleep issues. That is my best guess as to what is behind yours, as described, but there could still be something else. If it is fear based, then OF will help. It is option #2. I need the outward facing FRM. So I'm working on it as possible, but we are at a maximum disruption point right now. Models down, cluster headaches, and generally having a hard time being functional, never mind achieving much of anything. For the time being, I am working on LTUv6 Stage 7 as a result, since all that needs is to have the finished script built. |
