I think AF could help you here in a way. While reading your post it looks like you feel the need to be seen as someone special. There is nothing wrong with wanted to be seen this way, but I think AF can take the need away, because you get more self validation and you are less dependent from the validation of the men out there. You are also writing you feel like you need more options with man. If this one is fear based than AF can also help you here due to the build in OGSF. I think after AF you will know that you have options.

In the initial stages of AF stage 1 I was concerned about how AF would affect me as to how I would respond sexually. That was fear based I have gotten pass that and it has not been an issue for me .I even forgotten that I had that concern the main reason was due to an experience.
I am now in stage 2 of the program and will be looking to start stage 3 in two weeks. I have started doing yoga and taking vitamins there is also subtle confidence but its not lasting.I still feel self conscious and awkward most of the time. There are also times when I feel proud in who I am I walk tall hold my head high. Today I felt angry mostly angry at myself for not doing more or enough to change my life. I am in school and working but I am not where I want to be in life. I am so anxious to see what the changes will be in six months.
