My favourite kind of metal is dark, fast, gritty and aggressive rather than technical, straddling the fine line between relentless groove and getting out of control. Was listening to the radio this morning. Is it just me or is there a lot of blacksploitation in songs now. I know sia has a lot of songs where some black guy breaks out in rap, also "rock a bye 9" has one, and Katy Perry's song "chained to the rythm" (which I like a lot) has one too.
