What living person would not have had bad stuff happen to their ancestors, somewhere along their lineage? Recorded human history is pretty much truly heinous sh*t that's been done by some humans onto other humans. Are you saying we are all carrying genetic memories of this, both/either as victims or perpetrators?

Thanks for the link, Chaos. I have somehow managed to miss out on this being proven. This is fascinating stuff! I always figured the concept of "original sin", if you will, was bullshit. This stuff however, could explain some of the repeating negative patterns in society.

Exactly. The danger of this type of inquiry is that it sets us up to be a victim and not even try because as Dimitry put it "we're cursed" I call severe BS on that, especially since people like Tony Robins have overcome severely bad childhoods with bad parents but went on to succeed at nearly everything.

What we need is empowering discoveries, not discoveries that feed negativity and victim mentalities.

Do you want to know why? Here is an answer: loyalty to our family. People die for this loyalty. They can have health issue, they can never create a family or give a life for a child FOR LOYALTY. They are dong it unconsciesly.

Most people will act and do everything just not to break the loyalty.

Okey...do you think Richard Branson is cool? Have you read his autobiography book? A read line- his mother, his grandfather. They are strong people. He has access to this power.

It's kind of hard to understand your posts because of your english, but the overall message (I believe) is that we can do something about it. Great.

You speak of family and it's interesting because I have always been the black sheep. My family is very low-value and as I've improved they have more or less stopped associating with me (unless I make an effort) so I see how that can be.

However, I do not believe it is a matter of hereditary (inherited, genes etc) but more a matter of bonding and trying to remain as part of the faction.

My cousin (for example) is going through some major issues as he tries to break free without breaking free. I can see his loyalty to his family holding him back.

For me, I understand people more and know that you can bond with people without owing them your soul.

As for the rest (like getting good with women and etc) it's all just behaviors imo. Find out the right behaviors, and you'll be successful.

As for Tony Robins, we do know a bit about his grandparents because we know his parents who are offspring of his grandparents, isn't that how it works?

In general it can be said in the systemic work the balance is disturbed by something. And someone choose unconsciously to balance the energy. This for example can lead to the situation that the specific person doesn't get to their own life goals because the subconscious choose to go for a life goal an ancestor (which are not reachable). Of course this is just an example of an underlying problem. I am not an expert on this stuff but this is pretty much what I have been told from an systemic work practitioner. This can be solved through systemic work. Maybe it's also possible to do it through subs. I remember a post where Shannon said E2 could also clear such things. So who knows.

And its not about genes (imho) its about bonding, yes, and "hidden emotional inluence".

Everything can become an issue, including issues with women. For example, somebody who was succesful with women in your family (father, grand and grand-grand and so on) BUT DONE something terrible (killed someone or dropped a woman with a child, who knows) so... Even if you learn every right behaviour it will not work. Why? Because it is "illegal". Bam! Access Denied!

Iv got a similar issue, a,ready mentioned about it. Iv done everything to become popular with girls. And after solving the issues...it jst started to happen. Do you know about Logical levels of Robert Dilts. The hight levels affect the lower one.
Okey, behaviour is level 2 (level 1 is environment), level 3 capabilities, level 4 beliefs, level 5 identity. The level is mission or "something more". That exactly the level for intervention to occure. Before that - just actions are useless. Iv done Personal Power 30 days program 3 times before I understood that just actions is a waste of time. We must go higher.

I do think there are genes we inherited from our ancestor but it's a lot more complex than that, it goes back to 7 generation, and you can pick the bad or good in it depending on you.
Sarge you are not force to be like your family though. This is just a part of the whole but still an important part.
But depending on what you inherited from your ancestors you may be better or worse than your family. For example I never understood why my brother seems so much less intelligent than me, less shiny, less confident, less the center of attention than me. Until I found some esoteric method to describe the part of our DNA we got from our ancestor. It's related to karma or bad karma we got. If you want to know more about that ask in the astrology thread, I think this method is accurate until now I only found good results with it.

I have to agree with the Epigenetics . There is a lot of info out there on Epigenetics.
i have some life long issues that were cleared by subs.i also had a pretty dysfunctional childhood. I have also tried all kinds of therapies and other personal devopment things. With varying levels of success .
Things can be passes down through Epigenetic overlay generationally . And can be cleared. Tony Robbins and many others have cleared these things by doing lots of work on themselves. Nlp , numerous other modalities. To clear things out.
