Hmm I'm wondering if, as Shannon says, Meditation interferes with the state shifting then do any others things Shannon?
Examples
- Being drunk?
- DayDreaming/ Fantasizing?
- Worrying about different things in your mind
- Being sleepy
Just something I thought of just now. I'm wondering if anything like these affect the subs?
Thanks for the info on meditation though Shannon
Peace

Yeah I mean Cmon Shannon, alot of things are concious state shifting such as mindfulness, Daydreaming, Focusing on work, Smoking Weed and going to sleep. meditation is focus and if we cant focus then what are we supposed to do. Also watching TV and Playing video games have been proven tio pu you in a trance state so now we cant watch Movies and play games?
You need to differentiate between chemically induced state shifting (drugs), willful state shifting (meditation/focus) and ad hoc state shifting (daydreaming, etc.).
Induced state shifting from DMSI will influence and dominate and sometimes direct ad hoc state shifting relatively easily, and in fact is designed to allow them normally in a lot of cases which means the state shift is layered in with them. It's designed to be transparent and natural. Direct from behind the scenes, unless autopilot takes over.
But you can willfully focus your conscious mind in a specific direction... while driving, doing complex calculations, playing video games, flying a plane, meditating, deciding how to respond to a threat. You can derail or influence the state shifting while doing that.
And with chemical/physical state shifting, it will literally force your state to shift, regardless. (Depending on dose.)
So don't expect state shifting to be greatly effective when you're too drunk to walk, too focused to notice, etc. That's all.
