Shannon this is kind of a personal question, and I know you're backed up on a lot of questions, so sorry if this is the straw that breaks the camel's back, the camel's back being your sanity.

Have you ever thought about subliminals and thought about how we're not even human if we don't even make our own choices or we are programmed to be something. Who are we if a program tells us who to be? But then the other argument is that we're better off now because we are becoming something better, we were weaker before. Just want to know if you've ever struggled with this dilemma before.

Let's forget about subs for a second because 99% of earth's population is not using them, but every single person on this planet is acting on programming. Evolutionary programming embedded within us, programming from your parents, programming from society, programming from media. We are designed to carry out our programming just like every single living thing on this earth—and don't mistake my use of the word 'design' to imply any belief whatsoever in creationism. It is an evolutionary advantage to be born with and have the capacity to develop (or modify) programming about how to survive, replicate, conduct ourselves, overcome (or crumble) in the face of adversity, perform tasks, etc. Free will i.e what you do and do not do, is informed by a complex network of criteria that is floating inside of your head; considered at a speed we are hardly cognizant of. But there's a lot of bad programming, and it's not all distributed directly or with ill-will. We are all here because we recognize bad programming within us and want to change it. Thats what hypnosis is. That's what affirmations are. That's what subs are. It's new instructions. New, targeted programming that is consciously designed to inform our unconscious. So if you consider what we're doing here as betraying our humanity, then your definition of existence is one in which we are either blessed or doomed—and in both cases stuck—with the programming our luck-of-the-draw life circumstances have bestowed upon us.
