It's simple. You find the percentage value of the volume given for any other phone.
If the volume for Android is 7/15 and you have a phone with 25 clicks, you just convert 7/15 into a percentage by dividing 7 by 15, which yields 46.667%. Then you find the volume out of 25 that is closest, and use that. In this case, I look at 7/15 for adroid and I realize that 7*2=14 which means that 7 is slightly less than half of 15. I can divide 25 by 2 and get 12.5, and since there is no half click, I can look at 12/15 as a percentage, which is 48%. Looking at 11/25 we get 44%. Both of these options are ~2% from 46%, but it's 46.667%, so the best match is 12/25.
If ever you find yourself unable to decide between two options that are the same amount difference, the higher volume is usually going to be the better choice.
