I've got three book ideas that I've been building on the fly.
A personal journal is how I capture any wild thought that comes out of my mind.
OneNote has been my way of sifting through each piece and organizing these thoughts.
Thank you.
I have been trying to get this damned thing started for years now, but I could never get the thing to "work". Now it seems to be working.
I have it set up so that whenever I have an idea, I just switch to the desktop I have LyX running on and write it out as part of the first draft. The second and third drafts are going to be adding a lot, I'm sure, but getting the base fleshed out is the most important part for me in the beginning.
I usually create a first draft with a lot of ideas that may or may not be finished when I have to stop writing on a section, but in the second and third and fourth passes I add a lot and do a lot of editing too. Passes 5-6-7 are usually just edits, refinements and chopping unnecessary stuff out to make it as succinct as possible.
