Hey Shannon is their a big difference between the content in LTU 5 vs LTU6 or is it mostly just adding in more power and optimization and making it into a 6 stage?

You say that as if adding more power, optimizing it and turning it into a six stage is a small thing in its own right.

There is currently one addition, and three more are going to be considered for inclusion.  This is adding statements for specific goals to enhance the program, not adding titles.  So far, 75% of the additions I have tried to make proved to be too much for keeping the program balanced and properly functional.

The process of upgrading and optimizing the key script is a slow one because there is a lot of difference between when I wrote this script and how I script now.  I have to manually go through every statement and add in all the new methods.  

If all I had done was transfer the key script of LTU5 to the current skeleton script, you'd be getting an upgrade fully worth the price.  Just because there are only small additions doesn't mean the program isn't going to be a big upgrade.  I wouldn't bother upgrading it if it wasn't.  That only means we are really close to the limit of what can be put in one program.  

The difference between LTU5 and LTU6 is big, and that will become very obvious when people start using it.  Even though most of the work being done is optimization of the previous script, and replacing the old skeleton script.  It will be worth significantly more than LTU5 for how well it works and what it does.

When I work with a script, I use color coding to keep track of what is what and make it more readable.  When I'm working on something, it's usually blue if it's unfinished and green if it's finished.  When I am adding something to a previous section of script, the additions will be in red.  

Right now I have a lot of script that is green that I am making a lot of new additions to, and so it looks like a lot of green script that suffered death by a thousand cuts.  Much redder.

Shannon, when you say things like use volume 14/16 - does this relate to mobile phone speakers? what about connected to other speakers with amplification and volume?

for example, i have an android at 14/16 connected to power speakers using ultra sonic MIR 5.75
i would say its quite "loud", when i test it with hybrid for example for calibration.
when i sleep, Frequensee is showing -50db at my ears, which is about 3m from the speakers.

Are these the right settings? will these setting apply for other subs like OF 5.75?

When I say 13/15 I mean "playing from the onboard speaker of an Android phone.  14/16 on iPhone, or 26/30 on a Google phone (I think it was Google phone) is the equivalent.  Whatever the volume is at the speaker, that is the volume you want to use on whatever other player/external speakers if possible.  The exception is headphones or earbuds.  I don't use those, so I haven't figured out the optimal volume for them.  But it would be way too loud on headphones or earbuds at 13/15 I suspect, and you shouldn't use ultrasonic on them anyway.

It doesn't matter what the volume is at your ear, because volume falls off at the square of the distance from the source, and your ear moves around.  You need to match it at the source.

I use earbuds on an Android phone and set the volume of 10-11/15 (whatever is most comfortable.) Maybe try starting at that level. 

 I use the hybrid Triclikng Stream .flac format.

Hybrid includes ultrasonic.  That is not a wise thing to do on earbuds.  Especially on earbuds.  The volume from the speaker does not equate.  it is much higher, relatively, through earbuds.  It can potentially also damage your hearing to listen to ultrasonic that loud through earbuds.

I was a bit surprised by this.

Would it be possible for you to briefly sum up the suggested format and volume level for iphone speaker and earbuds for OF?

I am quite sure that I have read conflicting information about using hybrid with earphones or earbuds:
a) Do not do it
b) It can be done as long the volume of the audible (masked) track is well within comfortable range, or one click lower.

When using ultrasonic or hybrid, it is not recommended that you use it on headphones because it can cause damage if the ultrasonic portion is too loud.  Earbuds put the speaker physically inside your ear.  That means the relative volume will be even higher than it was with headphones, at the same volume setting.  

What I want to clarify is that when I say to use it on your phone at 13/15, I mean that it should be played through the phone's speaker at that volume.  It will very likely be too loud through headphones, and especially through earbuds, at that very same volume.  Even more especially if it is ultrasonic, or includes ultrasonic.

You can use ultrasonic or hybrid through headphones or earbuds, but it isn't a good idea.  If you do, you have to adjust the volume to be appropriate to the proximity of the speaker to your ear by calibrating with an audible source.  You also have to pay close attention to whether the volume causes you tinnitus, and either lower it or switch tracks if it does.

That is the final word.

Ah good, I was meaning to ask about the earbuds subject. I listen at night and high-volume ultrasonic from the phone or speakers is not an option because my gf can clearly hear the US sound and does not like it. I think its her choice and it's not my place to make demands here. So, I've been listening on small Sennheiser earbuds for quite some time now.

By now I can sleep fairly well with the masked track playing, but the volume I use is quite limited because it cannot "bug me" at all. Because low-volume masked format is likely not that efficient, I've been using the hybrid tracks. The stated reason for not using US with earbuds was too high volume, but in this case the volume is quite limited, so it does not seem to apply in this case.

As for effects, I might actually have some grade of tinnitus, though don't really know what's an abnormal level. And some years ago I also used to clearly hear the US track, but now it's at least much less audible. BUT, then context is that I have gotten older while doing this so that could have an effect on high-frequency hearing, and my mom always complains of tinnutus so maybe I'm prone to it, and when I listened to the US track with a higher-volume from speakers or from the phone it caused me much greater ringing in my ears for several hours at least, and sometimes head aches.

In summary, my options are to keep going with the hybrid track at low-volume, earbuds, at night. Probably ok efficient but might not be great for my hearing in the span of the next several years. Or, I could just run the masked track, but from Shannon's post I've gotten the impression that because it's already the lowest-volume subliminal contents format, then it might not be that effective. Maybe the most-reasonable action would be to try that. Maybe.

hey Shannon, I noticed that on one of my 2 speakers I listen to Subliminals on, the bass is lower than the other one.
They are a lot better quality than phone speakers though, so given that the bass is lower on one speaker, might it be better to just listen on mobile phone?

If you're using hybrid on earbuds at lower volumes, you'll be fine.  No need to change.

Bass doesn't matter.  The thing that matters is the high end of the reproduction of sound.  It's not going to matter about bass because with masked subliminals the normal range is 1-4 kHz for human speech.  Bass is much lower than 1 kHz usually.

Ultrasonics require a playback range of 20 kHz.

 damn good questions,Fella! I was wondering something similar about LTU6 & UMS2....like how does that all flow... is stage one prepartion for stage 2 and stag to prep. for stage 3 and so on and so forth??? 

a) slow steady and solid = 6 stage . all in one stage= fast & furious but 'if-ee-y,spotty results ? or B) does it have to do with getting thru  to some peoples 'thickness" like the smoking thing, as if the sub' had nothing to do with them, suddenly within 6 weeks or less,stopping,they just all of a sudden,decided to drop it!!" yeah right!!   or as the saying goes " or what?" none of the abouve. 6 stage indeed is a curious animal...

IMHO..but as long as I can get the results I/We need and want,who cares!!??
