The going too far in the other direction can be a part of the healing process. It is not the end result of healing though. Once she is healed fully, she can be freely sexual and loving without needing sex to be her only hope of feeling loved or what she is loved for, and also without feeling any need to avoid sex as an ab-reaction to previous excesses. Sex can then become the normal, natural, healthy expression of love, intimacy, pleasure and caring between an intimately bonded couple that it can be for them.

From the direction of subliminals, focus mostly on the EHPRA. Give that at least three months. I suggest six, personally. So it has been about two weeks since my last entry, and I haven't given in, but simply have very little to report.

Despite what seemed like a very brief pop of positivity, things have sort of leveled off and remained as they always were prior to launching this program.

The wife is now about twenty days into Emotional Pain/Healing, with few signs of any changes or breakthroughs, and in turn Poetry of Eros continues to illicit no response of any kind from her.

I know these things take time though, so I will continue on this course and hope for the best.

If you use it every day, you will acclimate and it will stop affecting you.

Probably that could be the reason that it levelled off.

If you use it too often, you will acclimate until you de-acclimate by not using it a while. You'll want to take 2-4 days off between uses to prevent acclimation.

Thanks for sharing that. The problem is that occasionally the instructions available vary from one answer or source to the next.

For example, the official Poetry of Eros documentation says that the files which include scripts (so, Vol 2 and 5, iirc) can be used as subliminal training which when used consistently can even result in permanent libido increase... however your quotes say the opposite.

Makes it difficult to follow any kind of best practices.

In any case, Emotional Pain/Healing IS intended for daily use, and is something I have been using exactly per instruction. Nothing to report yet on that front however.
