So I went to one choir-job audition, it went well but then a friend reported to me that a dude who works there infromed him that the auditions were a sham - they have to do public auditions because it's a publically-funded institution, but the outcome was predetermined and they hired some buds of the new conductor or whatever, lol. Helllooooo, nepotism, lawl. At least the opera's director invited me to be buddies with her on linkedIn, haha.
But, the other auditions I've been preparing for have extended the deadline by two weeks, so I'm still working on that stuff. Should be finished with it by Saturday and I can't wait, could use some rest.
I do feel somewhat physically exhausted due to overpracticing a touch maybe, but that's been known to happen with demanding repertoire, heh. Gotta keep reminding myself to not pratice for more than an hour per day, I guess!
Anyway, I was feeling pretty good, then wonky sensations started kicking in again and were there for a couple of days, but they've passed now. This has been happening every now and again on these healing programs.
Can't wait to be done with them and switch to something that's not healing-oriented. Two more months to go!
Been socializing a bit here and there. A friend from that "peer support" course asked me to attend the psych-ward she's been working at and give a little talk to the patients there, went there today, it was pretty fun, they seemed happy with the talk and everything, so there's that.
