Again: None so far in terms of motivating me to study. Feelings to avoid study however are either still there or have increased. not happy about this so any advice, suggestions or motivational thoughts will help guys
As you may know or not know, I am using MLS 5g, too. I am going to be on day 9. I don't think that it is to motivate you to study; it is just a sub that whatever you want to 'learn', you grasp anything you listen to or watch. Look at my journal; I have been documenting everything to the core.
What I am tempted to do or have been for the last few days is to start learning through things on youtube or self memory recall about past names/words and manually TRY to bring it to the surface; it isn't instant but I eventually get it. I don't think that MLS does everything on automatic mode, you have to put some effort into it too. Again feel free to check out my journal if you haven't stopped by. .
Good luck.
Hey Bro, thanks for the reply.
I have been reading your journal too and hope we both get a lot from this sub.
What I thought when I read the sub's description was I'm sure somewhere it was written about how it will motivate you to learn and want to learn. I consciously want to learn, I mean I have exams and have stuff to study, but I do procrastinate, or find my motivation has been kicked hard whenever I have been ill and I also find that I never have the energy and thus time to study which could be procrastination too.
Either way I want to learn and be the best I can be for my course/degree/major and so reading somewhere in the description that there is something about motivation i felt it would work.
I have it playing from my mac book pro (trickling stream) during the day and anytime I want to watch youtube or put on a movie, I still try and have it playing a little louder that then movie/YTube so that I can still here the stream without it affecting the movie.
I have missed a few nights due to falling asleep before pressing play to listen to the silent but even then theres been little to no effect at all so far in any sense.
I have been listening on random days with headphones on too in the hope that this being the most powerful way Shannon says to listen to these subs, that this will get me juiced up but nothing. Even if I felt there was a result in recall, or speed of retention/memory or anything of that sort I would be cool and optimistic in knowing that this works but so far not got anything at all
Hey thanks for the reply and the likes. So basically in regards to motivation, I personally think now that I WANT to go on to things like youtube, pick up a fictional book/text book, watch documentaries or tutorials, or even play a memory recall game and have this feeling of ENJOYMENT to want to challenge myself in grasping information.
Before MLS 5g, I never even thought about "hey let me challenge myself to bring something I can't recall to the surface" but with MLS 5g, I don't know if it is something becuz of it that I am more 'excited' to enjoy challenging myself with learning and testing. In fact, another thing I am now going to do is do reading comprehension and kind of 'looking forward' to challenge myself in recalling what I've read. I don't know if this is because of MLS listening or self thought ideas that seem exciting to test and see how the MLS is actually affecting me in the real world; or is it automatically making me look forward to want to test myself in learning and recall.....
Maybe I am not just self deciding in wanting to do these activity tests with my own choice but maybe the sub is making me interested in want to try to do it and the enjoyment loooking forward to doing it feeling is coming from the sub; but don't quote me on it.
