Day 19
I'm happy that Shannon came to the conclusion that the subconscious often views change as the equivalent of death and that he's attempting to handle it in his scripts. That conclusion is in line with the experiences I've had over the past few years of running subs. It's also in line with a dream I had last night. This dream clearly indicated that parts of my subconscious are willing to eradicate whatever stands in the way of progress. But other parts of my subconscious view that eradication as murder.
This morning, I woke up feeling extremely vulnerable. I felt like I had a gaping emotional wound exposed. As intense as it was, the feeling passed in about an hour.
I can still feel something being worked on beneath the surface. There's a sense of unease. That's what typically happens when my subconscious is pushed outside of its comfort zone. Because of that, I've learned to embrace it and to let it run its course.
