Started DMSI 3.2 A again this past monday (Three days ago). Couple of things that happened while I was on hiatus:
Company I work for was bought, currently going through a transition period.
Moved to a new, single bedroom apartment.
There was a point where I was switching between four or five different girls, and talking to double that.
Ultimately, I ended up upgrading one of my plates to girlfriend status in July that I had a particular fondness for. Things have been good so far.
That being said, in the meantime I've been testing various things out for a "Text-Game" project I'm working on, and I can confidently say the bloom effect even while off DMSI 3.2 A is real.
I'm noticing many IOI's, women smiling or approaching and standing next to me to wait, and so forth. In the online dating scene, I've been very easily able to acquire numbers and set up logistics... Ultimately, I flake in the end of course since I'm currently exclusive (We'll see how long that lasts, that's another thing I've taken a rather experimental approach to), but I'm still gathering good notes and collecting data for my project.
Another thing of note, is my girlfriend has outright said to me that she notices I get a lot of glances and looks. She's told me she likes to snuggle up and make it 'extra known' to the public that we are together. I know she's hinting at a bit of jealousy, and she's outright admitted that. It's nice to know from a second perspective that I'm not just imagining these IOI's; my girlfriend is definitely noticing them as well.
