I got a brand new 2017 car two weeks ago and didn't even brag about it to anyone except my closest friends. Last year when I got a shitty ass hoopdi, I was bragging to everyone for validation. It's very interesting how this new car was far more brag worthy, but I kept my mouth shut about it. Not that it was a chore to keep silent... I just knew deep down how needy it would be to seek validation from people who aren't important to me by telling them I got a new car. I worked my ass off, and sacrificed a lot of my free time to be able to afford the down payment.
I know it was due to US programming and being accountable for my own life.
Next goal is finding a place to live because a man who shares a room with his mom and sister is not sexually appealing. Lol.
