Damnit. I'm having a rough time. It's not world-ending or anything that terrible. It's just rough. Not liking my seeming lack of willpower, or discipline.
I didn't make it to the gym today. My son tripped and smashed his nose on his step stool. I had to ice it, and gave him ibuprofen. Poor guy looks like he got into a fight. I'm hoping he doesn't get a black eye (or two) out of it.
We went scouting for morel mushrooms once he felt better. He liked the hike. He did much, much better than last year. Amazing difference a year makes. Only one tick, thanks to some Rose Geranium essential oil. Ticks are nasty fuckers.
Took a nap this afternoon. Don't remember any dreams. Woke up pretty tired.
I'm contemplating switching to B tonight. It's been 42 days of A. I don't know if it's indeed resistance, or I just want to switch things up. My dilemma is, am I at the verge of a breakthrough with A (which is why I'm experiencing all this emotional shit and lack of discipline), or is my mind digging in its heels so hardcore that a switch to B might be the trick to get it to let go and in that sense get to a breakthrough? I can always switch back to A after a few weeks.
As of right now, I'm leaning toward running B until the 1st of May or so.
