I like to wake up, look at the wall, and focus on my breathing before I start my day. I do the same at night as well. I consider this my meditation and I can say without a doubt that I do feel better when I do it compared to when I don't. This was before subs as well as during. Does this conflict with state shifting?
He means don't meditate while using the sub,I think. Obviously anything you do while not using it is fine.
