Shannon, I was wondering what you would recommend to somebody going through bullying. Do you think ASC would help. I ask because it turns out my nephew and God son is apparently getting bullied at school. He is 12 or 13, and being somebody who got bullied in school, I would save him that pain if I could. Or would it be possible to have a sub for children who are experiencing this.

My opinion is that the solution for bullying is an immediate and definitive massive retaliation, the likes of which the "bully" will survive, but never forget. Such types rarely seem to learn through other means, either because they are emotionally and/or intellectually incapable of understanding things in other terms.

That said, I understand how that is not really feasible in many situations.

Honestly, I am not sure what to suggest otherwise. ASC can't hurt, but will be unlikely to be much help to the problem, either.
