How is your tone of voice and speed when talking? I read an article recently (I think it might have been from AskMen.com and was linked from another article I was reading) that said, among other things, that speaking in a higher tone of voice is perceived as more trustworthy for some reason. I don't remember what particular study it would have cited, though.
