This afternoon, I was comparing the effects of "with CAST" and "without CAST" for OF 5G and I was surprised to see that "without CAST" seems to work much better in the long run. I was confused by this, and upon further analysis, I realized why.

CAST causes focus on the goal in a way that is incompatible with dealing with fear specifically. It would, in effect, cause the same limitations that the current OF program has by forcing the user to deal with fear too aggressively and thus trigger it.

So, it's looking like this technology is not compatible with the specific goal of this program, and probably will not be included if further evidence to this end comes up. The goal is easier and smoother success without triggering fear.
