If I change the assumptions internally and it propagates to both subconscious and conscious awareness, then for all intents and purposes, that reality is now as true as your choices and actions make it.
So for instance with self confidence, if we short circuit the reality in which you are lacking in self confidence, and create one in which you have it, and then we overlay that reality on your current one such that it is indistinguishable from what was real before, then it for all intents and purposes becomes real, and you experience it as real, act as if it is real, and thus make it reality!
You could say this is an advanced form of reality recreation.
Think of it like this. When you are dreaming, you frequently dream about things and circumstances and actions which are not really possible, but in your dream, they are not just possible, but perfectly normal, natural and reasonable. You would not question them being done unless you were having a lucid dream.
Now, imagine having that sort of normality apply, while you're awake, to a different set of assumptions about what is real and what reality's limits are, such that your goal flows naturally and automatically into reality. Self confidence suddenly would exist, if that was the goal, because it is the natural result of the new set of assumed limitations, rules, expectations and reality. As such, once it exists within you, it exists for you, and you can experience and express it, thus making it real outside yourself as well. And over time it becomes so normalized that it becomes the standardized reality. But even though the shift from lack to having might only take 30 or 60 minutes, it would be so reasonable that the change would not trigger the "Oh goodness, this scares me, I better stop it!" that keeps people locked in their current shackles so frequently.
That's the idea.
This is all exciting in theory, but is such rapid change healthy? In bypassing years of junk programming with 30 or 60 minutes of exposure, can there really be no fallout?
Under heaven all can see beauty as beauty only because there is ugliness.
All can know good as good only because there is evil.
