While you're "loading" a program, it will take priority. So if you do SM and then WM, WM will dominate while it's in use. After using both, the programming will equalize in expression according to the size of each input's repetitions, minus the conflicting inputs. So SM's effects will have faded somewhat over time, and WM may have a slightly more dominant impact by the time you finish both and allow assimilation balancing.
