Some good points have been made in both sides of the argument. I primarily don't want to have a 4G and a 5G version of the same program because it tends to lead to erroneous thinking in how the programs are perceived. That and the fact that if the flagship version takes years, what's the distant second cousin going to do?
On the other hand, I benefited a lot from BASE 3G, which I created for myself. I could not have hoped to save up $500 when I did that because bills were so tight. Saving money wasn't a question of putting away and just not buying coffee, it was... rent or something else. I'm gonna pay rent! So I understand.
It is a challenging call on my end what to do.
