Very interesting question, OldMan.
However, your basis is slightly skewed. Comparing data input to a brain to bandwith on a computer network connection is only a partial fit. You must realize that the brain, through whatever method it uses to store data (looks like some sort of quantum interaction, so far) has effectively limitless storage capacity. It's input capacity is not limitless, nor is its energy, however.
You are receiving a steady stream of data from at least five senses, and probably more like 7 to 10 on a very fine grained temporal resolution, 24/7/365 for life, and every bit of it is stored.
The subconscious can process, separate and comprehend as many as 12 different speakers simultaneously while also running your heart, lungs, digestion, autonomic systems like the blood vessels, maintaining body temp, and receive, process, store and respond to data from all of your senses. You, sir, are a truly astoundingly capable being in that sense. It is positively mind boggling, compared to what we consciously believe ourselves capable of.
That said, when you listen to custom subs as you have stated, all data is accepted and recorded. Some monitoring and action is required to screen out each statement you hear that is not intended for you. This does require energy. However, it does not fill the full capacity of input. So you can expect that doing as you suggest will probably consume about 7 hours of action out of the 12 hours of exposure. 6 for the 6 hours you are fully targeted for, and about 30 to 90 minutes worth for the rest.
As for how much it counts towards the rule of letting the brain rest, I recommend an 8 to 12 hour chunk of time each day without exposure to my subs for a complete rest period. It's about like doing curls with a 50 pound weight for 6 hours, and then using a 5 pound weight for 6 hours. The workout is a lot less intense, but you're still not really resting. The time off completely allows for full processing to take place for maximum impact, just as the time to rest after a workout allows the body to rebuild and improve the affected muscles.
As for using the weight loss and alpha subs together... they will both be trying to use all of your "system resources", and in doing so, they only get about half the resources they each need to do the job, and neither gets very far. Both will have a little impact, but it will actually be less than half of what it should be, based on the experiments I have done. The programs are so finely tuned for focus and individual power, that two major programs almost cancel each other out competing for the resources to get the job done. It's not worth it.
