I don't know... I have experienced a period in my life where similar things have happened, so I can understand it's possibility. I remember when I meditated for about a month I reached a state of having quite a good reaction time to thoughts. And with that I could somehow bypass fear by letting it go the instant it appeared and then acting on it. I did so many things that you wouldn't believe a person with my past could do. Also I think that is the best way to make use of LOA, being in that state.
I believe that these results are highly improbable because humans have such a basic need to think, worry and "solve problems" that it's hard to get to the state where you just keep letting everything go. But it's certainly possible.
