But the 50% off is only valid for the first day?? What If I want to pick up the program say.. sometime this summer?

Shannon is doing a special introductory price. You can get 25% or 50% off anytime if you bought the previous program. However some people want to get both the discounted introductory price AND 50% off on top of that.

So intro price - 50%: 187.43 124.95 divided by 2 (50%)
Otherwise it's regular - 50%: 187.43 divided by 2 (50%)

So if you bought it sometime during the summer it would be the latter price.

To make sure everything is crystal clear, if your last purchase was the 2008 set, you will be paying full price for 2011. If you had the 2009 set, but not 2010, you'll have a 25% discount. And if you bought 2010 at full price, you'll be getting a 50% discount on 2011. But as Andrew says, the discount is not time sensitive, it's dependent on what your previous purchase was.

The first day is when the program will be priced at the old $124.95 price. After that, it will go to $187.43. The discounts still apply (25% or 50%) if you have the 2009 or 2010 alpha set, but you will be getting a discount on the $187.43 price after the day of release, instead of that amount of discount on a price of $124.95 as the price will be on the day of release.
