I've done reading Alpha 2.0 & Sigma Shock. The core concept itself is similar but explained differently with rich perspective of the author.
Whose the best? I do not care. The idea itself resonates with me. Also I've watched Cloud Atlas, a bit of tricky film with deep meaning that one decision impact the whole life, individually or not.
