I thought like that too before but I read some post who Shannon says that sometimes it's better to change sub when you have a good 6 stage set. So that way your mind have the time to process all the information of that sub. It's a post that date from a year ago. I guess it's better to do it that way then AM6->WM2->AM6 at least if you have mastered enough from the AM sub. For BASE it's little bit different because this sub need more continued exposure like BAMM.

The post I mention, it's old but I have seen it in more recent case but I don't find them.
