Maybe we can discuss this later.
I've been watching porn long enough to know that it has messed up things for me in a major way the details of which I won't get into here. I have also personally talked to some people who have much more knowledge than you or me on this. I will just say that I have a vision of who I want to be in the future and porn does not have a place in that lifestyle.
There is nothing wrong with watching porn once in a while but some people tend to go overboard with it. When I start watching it I tend to go 8- 12 hours straight and that is not healthy at all. It's hard to explain really, I go into a zone where I don't know what's going and the time just flies and 12 hours later I'm like "Whoah what just happenend?".
I have tried in the past to cut the time down but it didn't work.
I am not against porn at all in fact if you can do it in balance I actually encourage it. But the key word is balance like the poster above said.
BTW I'm not blaming porn either. It is my fault that got me into this and as result of my self development I plan on letting porn go.
Please continue to enjoy porn and don't let my experiences get in the way!
I tend to go all day too, if I can. It has become an issue lately because I'm too exhausted to do anything. But that's more priorities than porn. If I ran a marathon for 5 days straight and never ate anything, I'd be exhausted too. It's my choices, not the choices themselves, that are to blame.
Good on you for owning that as well, respect.
I simply wanted to show that if you want, you CAN watch porn and be completely balanced. Like you said, it takes some maturity to govern yourself, which is great. Making a blanket statement/belief like "porn is to blame!" is just as childish as using porn for 12hours a day, every day.
