Adri, if it helps with anything, it was very hard for me to stick with the second stage of AM6. It's true that it wasn't because of a struggle similar to yours, but because of deep tiredness.
What I did was to take a few (4 in my case, but you can do up to 7) sparse days off on purpose, recovering them in the end. This considerably helped.
Absolutely, it's awesome that you made the decision to stick with it! As a therapist you know how important is to hold on to the process. It obviously can't be the case that the program tackles the issues in the most perfectly suitable order for you as an individual (it can't - it's a script meant to cover the most common cases), but I'm more than convinced that, as a whole, it covers what you need to solve.
