Alright so this new setup with one speaker at opposing ends of my bed is working much better than I anticipated. For 3 nights in a row I've had extremely vivid dreams. Tonight, if you can believe it, I was actually fighting Hades from God of War 3 (great game IMO) and was putting a serious beatdown on him. The day before that, I was hanging off the edge of a railing trying to jump onto one of those landing pads in the water except there were a bunch of sharks close by. Of course I jumped anyway like a wild man lol. What's crazy is that they were ALL lucid dreams where at one point or another I realized I was dreaming which in a way felt more empowering because rather than be at the mercy of my dreams, I could do what I WANTED to do and end the dream whenever I saw fit. Stereo spatial effects FTW!!!
Awesome stuff. Overcome Procrastination is also kicking in again, allowing me to research some grad schools and get headstart on preparing for next semester. Now, for the past few years I've almost always used two speakers however they always came from one direction, rather than from a direction that would produce/mimic the effects of the intended 3D Stereo spatial effects built into most subliminals. According to Shannon, if the sound is going only to one ear/one direction rather than two as is the case with headphones/properly positioned speakers then a person would be getting less than 50% of the power output from the subliminal. For the past year or so, the average time for me to see results typically came in around the 60-90 day mark, with 120 being the time needed to see semi-permanent results. If properly positioned speakers allow close to 100% of the power from subliminals then logically it would seem that my time needed to see results should be roughly halved if the math works out correctly.
This seems sound, because I was seeing profound results from MLS3.0 in a much shorter time than usual while utilizing headphones versus before where I almost never used the damn things. But I can't properly test this now because 1.) I've already used MHS for longer than 120 days and 2.) Overcome procrastination is nearing the 60 day mark anway so go-figure.
Plus, I've gotta ween myself off MHS because at this point I feel like I'm using it because I'm afraid of relapsing and going through that whole fiasco all over again. I've told myself I'd finish out by Thursday making it 134 days total because I need to move on.
