In my case, I needed to turn the boat quite a bit to achieve the goal because I chose a REALLY hard goal. One I don't think, in hindsight, was realistic or even reasonable.

I think the way you chose a really hard goal is actually a very good thing, and also suit your type of character who like tough challenges. If you hit your target then it will only proves that Optimus Engine is really really powerful, but if the target is not achieved then it will be a boost for your motivation to further enhance and refine OE until it is perfected to your high standard.

Btw, I'm very curious with what kind of difficult goal you have set for yourself?
