Back in 2004, Florida had 4 hurricanes in 6 weeks.
My power was out for one month!!
Since then, FPL - Florida Power & Light replaced all the wooden poles from which the power lines hang with hurricane-impact concrete poles.
Newer communities have power lines underground.
FPL - Florida Power & Light with the new technology in place is restoring power in record time!!
