I've done it before. It's actually not that hard to get consent if you do it right. Typically they will either be curious as to what it will do or feel like, or skeptical that it could work.
I cannot fully control how my subliminals are used, but I can give you guidelines as to how they should be used. The rest is up to you to figure out. There are ways and use cases, if you think about it.
