Black Hole Shield is an exotic.  I don't use it much, but where it is useful it is VERY useful.  Exactly what it does... well, you'll see that when I publish it.  It will be a stand alone shield.  But the name does give a hint.

Regarding the stand-alone shield, can we mix and match the stand-alone shield with other products later on as needed?

That's the goal.  I'm not 100% sure if it will work out that way.  But... the "other product" has to have no shield built in.  I'd like to set up a series of stand alone shields and then stop building them in to the skeleton script entirely.
