Fear is never your friend. Just need to be patient for a few minutes until they leave. Or spray them with bug spray and move on. I have had them land on me and I just calmly wait until they fly away. They won't sting unless they think you're going to attack.
yeah I usually go on the attack with a spray or a vaccum but ill never let them sit on me like you... I wanna live haha
